Once is an instance, but twice is a hobby, or so the saying goes: After our amazing Season Launch 2017, we’re thrilled to announce our second street food party of the season. As per usual, we’ll be bringing together a roster of Berlin’s finest street food trucks and stalls at our legendary Arena/Hoppetosse location. With whisky (sic!) cocktails provided by Love Scotch, craft beers by Berliner Berg, a selection of biodynamic wines by LADIDADI WINES, and amazing tunes by DJ Alex from London’s Voices Collective!!!

★ Big Stuff Smoked BBQ: Kreuzberg’s uber-popular outpost for North American BBQ will be treating us to pulled pork, pork belly, beef brisket and everything in between.

★ Bunsmobile: The big yellow truck (plus Victor the Jack Russell) will be serving up their classic cheeseburger with a Singleton BBQ sauce – freshly ground chuck, their custom buns and molten cheddar.

★ Chaiwallahs: Oli is back at Bite Club bringing real Indian streetfood to Berlin with his Chaat stand, serving a sliced lentil samosa covered in all sorts of spicy goodness, like daal, tamarind sauce, beetroot yoghurt and Bombay mix. All vegan too!

★Garcon de Café: From his Citroen 2CV Transporter, which comes fully loaded with a beautiful Vibiemme espresso machine, Henri makes a perfect noisette (that’s an espresso with a little foam) in immaculate French style. Props for the bow tie and apron!

★ Pic Nic 34: Gianni will be grilling Arrosticini – a classic Abruzzo streetfood of mutton skewers and fresh-grilled piadinas filled with Sicilian cream cheese, pesto and Italian sausage.

★ Woop Woop: Liquid nitrogen (-196°C) is the magic ingredient that allows these ice cream ninjas to create the freshest, super smooth scoops on the spot in front of your very eyes. As for flavors, think dark-chocolate-whiskey, strawberry-cheesecake, pear-cinnamon, hazelnut-raspberry and many more…


★ Big Sur: Bringing us that famously laid-back California spin on feel good American classics, these fresh and simple dishes run the gamut from deliciously creamy kale salads to succulent buttermilk fried chicken.

★ California Pops: Homemade organic Eis am Stiel all the way from sunny California!

★ ChungKing Noodles: Chef Ash Lee and partner will be serving up a variety of mouth-numbingly delicious noodle dishes doused in rich broth and layered with flavorful condiments.

★ Fuego & Co: Finally… authentic Argentinian-style BBQ in Berlin! Forget gas-fuelled balcony cook outs, it’s BBQ in its purest form with these South American pit masters: a variety of succulent meats and vegetable skewers cooked to perfection over layers of smoky charcoal.

★ Mogg: According to the New York Times food critic Pete Wells ‚only a handful of New York delis can match‘ this Mitte spot’s hefty pastrami on rye.

★ Samurai Spoon: Okonomiyaki (a savoury Japanese pancake) with a body of lettuce and flour griddled to perfection and topped with chopped nori, bonito flakes, Kewpie mayo and special Okonomi sauce.

★ Santa Mamma: Fluffy, chewy, mama approved authentic gnocchi, swashed on the spot in a variety of aromatic sauces from Bolognese and pesto to sage butter and, oh yeah: truffle.

★ Son Kitchen: As beautiful as they are scrumptious, these boxes of bang up-to-date Korean classics have homemade and naturally invigorating Kimchee as their centrepiece. Introducing the Far-East Kimchee Taco; a blend of Kimchee, Korean Salsa, twice caramelized Bulgogi and a choice of two silky sauces.

★ Spice Spice Baby: A taste of the tropics, this sweet and spicy Jamaican Jerk chicken is marinated and slow smoked over thyme strewn coals. Think citrus, rum, cinammon & chilli and you’re almost there on the beach! Served with coconut rice & beans, fried plantain and a Jamaican rum infused gravy

★ Taco Kween: Our resident Mexican stall grind their own GM-free corn tortilla masa for tacos topped with braised pork in annato, roast pineapple or fish in a Basque pepper sauce.

★ Tausendsuend: Officially our favourite baker in Berlin. Melt in your mouth brownies and blondies (white choc), crumbly cookies and guilt free 100% raw vegan cakes.

★ DJ Alex: A vanguard of London’s Disco re-surgence, Voices collective’s DJ Alex will take to the turntables at this edition of BC with his inimitable mix of Disco, Italo, and everything in between.
